Balance Beam was developed in response to my daughters interest in gymnastics after watching the 2004 Olympics. I enrolled her into a local gymnastics academy and she really enjoyed the balance beam. I made up a floor level balance beam using some scrap vinyl so she could practice at home. Hence, the
STICK IT!
Balance Beam was born. A few moms liked the idea for their girls... then the gym bought several for additional balance beam training stations and the next thing I knew I was in business!
My name is Kim Dick and I am the owner of the company. As a former gymnast, I remember the days of placing tape on the floor so I could practice at home. Now, years later, I was inspired by my daughter to provide this fundamental gymnastics balance beam training aid I wish I had 30 years ago!
Our mission is to provide parents and gymnasts a practical, safe, cost-effective tool that will enhance the ability to practice anywhere.
